Rely

Company formation for LATAM founders.

Problem

Forming a US company from LatAm is a mess. You deal with filings, banking, registered agents, documents, deadlines, all in different places. Founders call providers, wait on emails, lose track of where they are. Nobody has a single view of what's done and what's next.

Solution

I joined Rely to build the product that fixes this. The customer gets a dashboard that walks them through formation step by step. They see their status, upload documents, pay, and track everything in one place. The operations team gets a Kanban pipeline with every order, its state, and all context needed to push it forward. I owned the product decisions and the engineering: what to build first, how to structure the workflow, which states matter to the user. I also built the Partner Formation API so other companies could create LLC and EIN orders programmatically through Rely. Scoped API keys, a CLI tool, and an MCP server for AI agents. It is in closed beta with partners, not public self-service yet.

How

React + Chakra UI for the customer dashboard. React + Vite + Zustand for the admin panel. Kotlin + Spring Boot backend, PostgreSQL, Auth0, Stripe, Cloudflare R2. 250+ tests. Live at rely.business.

Outcome

A process that used to live across inboxes and phone calls now lives in a product. Founders see their status. The ops team has a queue. Everyone knows where things stand.
